Job Responsibilities:
The Treasury Sales Associate (TSA) is responsible for supporting the end to end sales process with the Treasury Sales officer within the North America Investments and Securities team. While balancing the responsibility of actively managing and growing the TSO’s global book of business, the individual will also be responsible for being the central point for Know Your Customer (KYC) processes for the client portfolio.
Serve as the primary coordinator for onboarding activities, acting as the key liaison between clients and the bank's KYC and implementation teams for cash management services.
Extensive client interaction requiring the TSA to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and a client centric attitude working with some of the most recognizable FI organizations in the world.
Collaborate with multiple partners across multiple regions in Corporate Banking, Product Management, Service & Fulfillment, Credit, Risk, Compliance and Operations to deliver locally-relevant, globally consistent solutions to our broad base of clients.
Develop a deep understanding of bank structure and the operational aspects of global cash management products and services.
Utilize support partners and resources to coordinate industry, prospect and client research for use in pre-call planning for TSOs and partners.
Accountable for accuracy of sales data within source systems (e.g. Deal Pipeline, client plans, call reports, pricing and CRC preparations). The individual will also prepare presentations, proposals to support the TSO's sales efforts.
Provide support client and portfolio level analysis including profitability, revenue, product and balance trends and variance.
Position the successful candidate for an expanded role in GTS Sales and other lines of business. Many high performing TSAs have successfully progressed to TSO and TSM roles across the organization.
Job Qualifications:
B.S./ B.A. degree or equivalent work experience
Exceptional interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to develop effective business partnerships
Ability to excel in a high paced environment and manage multiple priorities/projects
Follow-through skills and time management are critical elements of this position
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrates strong business acumen
Extensive Microsoft Office skills to support data management and financial analysis
Prior GTS/corporate banking experience is preferred
2 to 5 years of related banking roles in sales, operations, compliance, or KYC onboarding desired. Certifications in CTP, ACAMS, CAMS a plus but not required
Familiarity with US and global treasury management products, services and trends and Knowledge of any of the industry segments including but not limited to alternative or traditional asset management, broker-dealer, insurance, mortgage, title, payment processor or banking industries
