Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly financial statements in accordance with the closing schedule.
Ensure timely and accurate control of monthly journal entries to meet closing deadlines and review account imbalances prior to closure.
Conduct monthly reviews, analyses, and reconciliations of major balance sheet accounts as assigned.
Guarantee the timely and accurate completion of reports. Investigate and resolve reconciling items promptly.
Generate management reporting packages, detailed balance sheet analyses, audit packages, and other corporate reports as required.
Maintain, reconcile, journalize, and report on all company accounts.
Prepare and follow up on account reconciliations.
Review and enhance current accounting processes, procedures, and reporting to improve departmental productivity and effectiveness.
Act as a liaison between the local entity and the controlling group, as well as other stakeholders.
Prepare financial statements and submit tax declarations.
Supervise the accounting team to ensure the completion of assigned projects.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement through automation and efficiency initiatives.
Manage communication with key partners regarding discrepancies, payment remittances, and extended payment terms.
Assist with annual audit requirements.
Complete other ad hoc reports as assigned by management.

Requirements:

5+ years of proven experience in finance management
Experience in the financial sector with previous possible roles such as financial analyst
Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns
Proficient user of finance software
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
BS/MA degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
Professional qualification such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus
