Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly financial statements in accordance with the closing schedule.
- Ensure timely and accurate control of monthly journal entries to meet closing deadlines and review account imbalances prior to closure.
- Conduct monthly reviews, analyses, and reconciliations of major balance sheet accounts as assigned.
- Guarantee the timely and accurate completion of reports. Investigate and resolve reconciling items promptly.
- Generate management reporting packages, detailed balance sheet analyses, audit packages, and other corporate reports as required.
- Maintain, reconcile, journalize, and report on all company accounts.
- Prepare and follow up on account reconciliations.
- Review and enhance current accounting processes, procedures, and reporting to improve departmental productivity and effectiveness.
- Act as a liaison between the local entity and the controlling group, as well as other stakeholders.
- Prepare financial statements and submit tax declarations.
- Supervise the accounting team to ensure the completion of assigned projects.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement through automation and efficiency initiatives.
- Manage communication with key partners regarding discrepancies, payment remittances, and extended payment terms.
- Assist with annual audit requirements.
- Complete other ad hoc reports as assigned by management.
