Responsibilities
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic FP&A Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will partner with various business units to support and optimize our capital strategies, acting as an bridge between the business units. You will be responsible for gathering and analyzing financial data, preparing reports, triggering P&L and BS adjustments and providing insights that drive key business decisions and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business partners to ensure operational support for capital strategies aligned with corporate goals.
Gather and analyze financial data including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow, and pricing trends.
Influence decision-making through detailed financial analysis and reporting.
Drive the forecasting process (monthly, quarterly and yearly ) by analyzing business trends and collaborating with the business partners in order to align with organizational objectives.
Collaborate in the budgeting process in order to reflect the most realistic P&L position for the following year
Drive the close process for your assigned unit and collaborate in building an end to end view of the respective offering or region
Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies.
Maintain accurate financial reporting and strong business controls.
Develop and maintain relationships with business leaders to understand and meet their financial analysis needs.
Handle complex business issues and provide analytical support for various initiatives.
Enhance understanding of financial processes and deepen knowledge of business operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
Typically, 2+ years of experience as a financial analyst, with exposure to multiple finance functions preferred.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in business applications especially, Microsoft Excel.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and processes.
Experience working with SAP or other ERP systems is highly desirable.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to handle complex issues and provide insightful financial analysis.
