Consumer Insight, Measurement & Analytics (CIMA) is part of the Global Marketing Center of Excellence within Disney Experiences (DX). CIMA influences decision making with integrated, objective, and actionable insights. 

Job Description:

As a member of the Marketing Analytics and Insights team, you will serve an integral role in informing the strategic decision making of the marketing organization. This role within CIMA will support efforts to influence and inform Marketing and Media strategy development and enterprise-wide executive-level decision-making by measuring, analyzing, synthesizing, and interpreting a broad spectrum of data, including media effectiveness, sales results, theme park attendance, resort room nights, cruise line bookings, primary and secondary research findings, and other key business driver metrics.  This role involves analyzing marketing effectiveness for paid, owned, and earned media, scenario planning to optimize media investment, testing new strategies, and solving complex ad hoc problems.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage analytics projects from beginning to completion – including translating business questions into an analytics scope, developing measurement plans & KPI framework, establishing data requirements and sourcing data, conducting analysis, summarizing results, and creating and delivering presentations

  • Leverage a variety of different internal and external data sources (including marketing, media, digital, customer, sales, and product data) to conduct analyses, identify trends, guide strategic recommendations

  • Research industry trends, solving opportunities for value-added analysis, developing points of view to increase results, and framing recommendations for leadership.

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of Marketing campaign performance while delivering actionable insights to improve results

  • Support optimization of media (paid, owned, earned), content, audiences, campaigns, customer acquisition, and retention through testing and analytics

  • Connect the dots between desired marketing and business outcomes and actual results to make relevant recommendations to improve performance

  • Design effective and impactful reports and visualizations that show business performance

  • Communicate clear and compelling presentations to partners and executives

  • Partner and collaborate with leaders across the broader CIMA team and additional DX areas including Marketing and Sales Strategy, Customer Engagement, Yellow Shoes, Pricing, Planning & Forecasting, and Finance

  • Proactively manage multiple projects from inception to implementation simultaneously

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 of experience in analytics, business planning or similar role

  • Proficiency in software applications such as Tableau and Excel (can perform complex functions)

  • Strong data literacy, curiosity, and problem-solving skills

  • Familiarity with a variety of digital marketing tools and platforms

  • Experience working in a matrixed team environment and with a variety of partners at all levels

  • Excellent storytelling and communication to convey complex analytical insights and concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Digital media campaign management experience a plus

  • Hospitality/Tourism industry experience preferred

  • Professional experience in a similar role within a marketing or media analytics team

  • Experience collaborating with, and integrating, AI tools and platforms to enhance work product

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Marketing or other related quantitative field

Preferred Education:

  • Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Marketing or other related quantitative field
