The Sample Coordinator Intern will interact with customers, to provide information, support and problem resolution to inquiries and orders status. This person will be trained to serve as the customer’s point of contact for delivery and sample order. Also, will maintain proactive communication and acts on customer inquiries in an efficient and timely manner. Builds strong partnership internally with production, planning, logistics and business functions to identify and drive alternatives to meet customer order requirements. 6 – 9 months contract.

Most Important tasks and responsibilities:

·       First contact for sample demand from Design Engineers, Project Managers, Sales engineers

·       Coordinate sample activities, review daily customer demand and validate deviations

·       Plan sample quantities and prepare shipment documentation

·       Book customer prototype purchase orders in Oracle ERP

·       Commit delivery date to customer to ensure OTD

·       Create and maintain a cross-reference list

·       Follow KPIs and report on the sample delivery status

·       Prepare dashboards by key customer accounts

 

Position requirements:

 

·       Student (or BA graduated) in technical or business related field

·       Knowledge of manufacturing environment and B2B communication

·       Awareness of ERP planning systems (Oracle knowledge a plus)

·       Verbal and written communication skills in English

·       Good interpersonal & collaboration skills

·       Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results

·       Experience in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
