Lead Fixture Operations Specialist
Position Overview:
The Lead Fixture Operations Specialist is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing a multi-location team of Fixture Operations Specialists focused on driving operational efficiency, automation, and service quality within our fixture data operations. Acting as a bridge between operational execution and strategic direction, the Lead Fixture Operations Specialist is responsible for ensuring excellence in day-to-day activities, managing team performance, and leading improvement initiatives aligned with business objectives.
This role combines people leadership, process optimization, and technical problem-solving, with a strong emphasis on Lean principles, automation, and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will be a proactive, data-driven leader with strong stakeholder management skills, the ability to deliver results through others, and a passion for operational innovation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Fixture Operations Specialists, setting clear goals, coaching performance, and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Drive process excellence by identifying and implementing improvements that reduce waste, eliminate inefficiencies, and increase workflow standardization and throughput.
- Manage operational improvement projects, from scoping and design through implementation and measurement of success.
- Encourage the use of low-code/no-code platforms and support the team in developing automation solutions using tools like Power Automate, Zapier, Google Apps Script, or internal systems.
- Apply Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies to streamline operations and reduce variability.
- Maintain and improve SOPs, process documentation, and workflow governance to ensure clarity, compliance, and scalability.
- Manage operational reporting and dashboards to track KPIs and performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Tech, and other departments to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.
- Complete one-time tasks assigned by the line manager.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- 2+ years of experience in operations, process improvement, or leadership roles
- Proven people management and coaching skills, with the ability to build high performing, engaged teams.
- Good understanding of operational excellence, continuous improvement, and methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent.
- Proven experience with low-code/no-code platforms and automation tools; able to assess, guide, and support automation initiatives.
- Proficiency with data tools and reporting platforms (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, SQL, Power BI); capable of interpreting data and acting on insights.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex workflows, prioritize improvements, and implement practical, scalable solutions.
- Highly organized, with excellent planning and time management skills in fast-paced environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Proactive, self-driven, and passionate about continuous improvement, innovation, and operational discipline.
