Type of contract : Article 68, paragraph 1, item 3 of the Bulgarian Labour Code (Fixed-term employment contract for temporary replacement of a worker or employee who is absent from work (Maternity leave replacement))
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all financial operations, including invoicing, cost management, cash flow, asset inventory, debt management, and revenue recognition;
- Coordinate all outsourced accounting functions;
- Assist in the coordination and preparation of budget, financial forecasts and variance reports;
- Support the preparation and publication of monthly financial reports within the agreed timelines;
- Support the month-end and year-end closing process;
- Ensure quality control of financial transactions and financial reporting;
- Drive strategic financial analysis and business performance insights by identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to support executive decision-making;
- Develop and enhance financial processes, internal controls, and automation by documenting business practices, implementing best practices, improving forecasting accuracy, and optimizing reporting tools;
- Lead cross-functional financial initiatives, collaborating with senior leadership, accounting, and operational teams to support cost-saving and efficiency projects;
- Additional financial duties as necessary.
