What you’ll achieve
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design and develop sophisticated software and systems management firmware for Dell's storage products within the Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG).

You will:
•Contribute to the design and architecture of new or re-engineered software/storage environments
•Prepare written software/storage specifications for sophisticated products from architectural diagrams and documents
•Build and review design, functional, technical and/or user documentation, as needed
•Develop, review and implement test strategies for software products and systems

Essential Requirements
• 5+ years related experience or equivalent skill; must include experience with server, storage, networking and client technologies

• Proficiency in C/C++ with a good understanding of Linux operating systems

• Solid understanding of hardware and software interactions

• Insight into software architectures and applications
• Strong debugging skills for simple programs using either written or verbal design specifications

Desirable Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree

• Knowledge of Python

Compensation

Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $145,000 - $187,000.
