Responsibilities
Participate in the development of GPS Innovation strategic direction and execution of related initiatives, particularly with respect to B2B payments and liquidity products.
Act as an objective advisor to senior leaders across the payments space.
Participate in sourcing and progression of concepts through the innovation funnel articulating client pain points, potential solutions, applicable frameworks, and business economics.
Partner with SMEs across the organization to flesh out concepts and next steps.
Develop requirements for test and learn, success metrics and criteria for proofs of concepts.
Take learnings to design a phased commercialization approach partnering with product to deliver on concept vision.
Maintain visibility into Payments industry trends and developments.
Participate in payment innovation initiatives and product deployments across various jurisdictions, as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
Develop and maintain relationships with various stakeholders.
Analyze B2B, B2C, and C2B payment ecosystem trends to launch and commercialize products that will drive substantial ROI across various markets.
Assess workflows across functional teams within Operations, Technology, Servicing, and Compliance teams.
Serve as an expert at various industry conferences and steering committees.
Understand and apply North American laws, rules, and regulations across complex payment products that span multiple jurisdictions.
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related: and
5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related Quantitative occupation.
Must include 5 years of experience in each of the following:
Participating in payment innovation initiatives and product deployments across various jurisdictions, as a member of a multidisciplinary team;
Developing and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders;
Analyzing B2B, B2C, and C2B payment ecosystem trends to launch and commercialize products that will drive substantial ROI across various markets;
Assessing workflows across functional teams within Operations, Technology, Servicing, and Compliance teams;
Serving as an expert at various industry conferences and steering committees; and,
Understanding and applying North American laws, rules, and regulations across complex payment products that span multiple jurisdictions.
10% domestic and international travel required, as necessary.
