Job Description
The annual base salary for this role is $74k - $80k.
As part of the Auberge family, you will be responsible for developing relationships with key luxury travel agencies and partners to identify business opportunities and maximize revenue. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the intricacies of the luxury hotel market and be comfortable meeting and exceeding revenue goals, as well as being an excellent communicator and negotiator.
- Support Mauna Lani's leisure revenue goals by generating leisure/transient business for the property.
- Build relationships with key, luxury consortia accounts, including: GDS, Virtuoso, and others.
- Work with the property operations to ensure all VIP consortia guests are noted.
- Solicit, negotiate, and service appropriate luxury FIT/wholesale accounts as it relates to agent training, marketing, reservations, etc.
- Target key accounts to host familiarization trips to increase ROI.
- Analyze forecast, cost, and revenue reports to make strategic decisions.
- Accurately maintain and build the Salesforce database of clients.
- Evaluate promotional events, trade shows, community, and industry events to make sure attendance produces the proper return on investment.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years experience as a Hotel Sales Manager or Luxury Travel Advisor representing a luxury hotel, resort or travel agency
- Ability to influence & build rapport with key stakeholders
- Self-motivated with a competitive spirit to achieve goals
- Excellent presentation & communication skills to be able to effectively represent the property
- Ability to travel to attend trade shows, client meetings, local tourism meetings and other key events
- Experience with Delphi/Salesforce system
