Why We're Hiring

We’re looking for a digitally native Site Merchandiserwho lives at the intersection of product, content, and user experience. In this role, you’ll be responsible for optimizing on-site merchandising strategies across complex.com/shop to drive top-line revenue, boost conversion rates, and maximize add-to-cart performance. You’ll own key site experiences—from collection sorting and homepage updates to cross-departmental promotional execution—and help build a seamless journey from discovery to checkout.

What You'll Do

    • Own Site Merchandising across key shopping pages, landing pages, and collections. Ensure products are sorted to drive engagement, conversion, and sell-through.
    • Execute Daily Merch Updates: Align content with product launches, promos, and cultural moments.• Partner with Marketing & Creative to ensure product stories are supported with proper linking, banners, assets, and UX touchpoints.
    • Optimize Search & Navigation: Work within Algolia and Sanity.io to refine filters, categories, and search results that match user intent.
    • Track and Improve Key Metrics: Use GA, Shopify reports, and Tableau dashboards to monitor add-to-cart rates, conversion, bounce rate, and other KPIs.
    • Campaign Readiness: Ensure on-site readiness for all product drops, tentpoles, and promos in partnership with cross-functional teams.
    • A/B Testing & Best Practices: Recommend and test new merchandising strategies to improve performance.
    • Product Attribution & Tagging: Ensure products are accurately categorized and enriched for searchability and merchandising logic.

Who You Are

    • 2–4 years experience in ecommerce or site merchandising, preferably in fashion, music, or collectibles.
    • Proven success optimizing product pages, category layouts, or search results to meet KPIs.
    • Strong experience with Shopify and familiarity with headless CMS environments (e.g., Sanity.io).
    • Understanding of tools like Algolia, Google Analytics, Klaviyo, and Tableau.
    • A keen eye for merchandising trends and customer behavior—bonus if you’re into fashion, music, or streetwear culture.
    • Highly organized and collaborative; comfortable managing multiple initiatives across departments.
    • Data-driven with a test-and-learn mindset.
$75,000 - $85,000 a year
The Pay Range, which consists of salary and commission, for this position is listed. Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Complex Total Rewards offerings for employees.
