SAP Maintenance Functional Consultant - Sales and Distribution (SD)

Our Bulgarian Technology team is currently implementing complex global projects in a vast portfolio of industries – e-commerce, retail, insurance, banking, telecommunications, automotive, public sector, travel and culture.

The role is available for Sofia, Plovidv, Varna, Burgas, Ruse.

The SAP SD Functional Level 2 Engineer is responsible for the ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancement of SAP SD processes, ensuring efficient sales order processing, pricing, billing, and delivery. This role involves troubleshooting, configuring, and optimizing SAP SD functionalities to ensure efficient order processing, billing, and delivery. The position demands a deep understanding of SAP SD and related modules, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 2 support for SAP SD processes, addressing and resolving incidents and service requests.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime and optimal functionality.
• Collaborate with Level 1, Level 3 support, and cross-functional teams to ensure resolution of complex issues and successful project delivery.
• Configure and customize SAP SD module to meet business requirements related to order management, including sales order processing, pricing, billing, and delivery.
• Develop functional specifications for custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms (RICEFW).
• Work with ABAP developers to implement custom solutions.
• Analyze current sales and distribution processes and recommend improvements.
• Conduct regular system health checks and performance tuning.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Participate in SAP implementation and upgrade projects, providing expertise in sales and distribution processes.
• Conduct testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
• Implement and maintain security measures to protect sensitive data within the SAP system.

Technology Stack Used & Required Knowledge:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in SAP SD, with at least 2 years in a support or maintenance role.
• Proficiency in SAP SD configuration and customization, including sales order processing, pricing, billing, and delivery.
• Strong understanding of sales and distribution processes and related business functions.
• Experience with integration points between SAP SD and other SAP modules (e.g., MM, FI, PP).
• Basic knowledge of ABAP programming and debugging.
