The Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our cloud-native applications. As an integral part of our development team, you will design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks while working closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers to build a robust and scalable test automation strategy.

You will be responsible for creating automated test suites, performance testing frameworks, and CI/CD-integrated quality assurance processes to ensure our applications meet the highest standards of security, scalability, and functionality.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks for frontend, backend, and APIs.
• Implement and execute functional, integration, performance, and security tests.
• Collaborate with developers and DevOps engineers to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure test coverage and traceability across all stages of development.
• Work in an agile environment, receiving requirements from technical leads and aligning efforts with the quality team.
• Identify, document, and track bugs and performance issues, providing recommendations for resolution.
• Optimize and scale automation testing strategies to support rapid development cycles.
• Advocate for best practices in test-driven development (TDD) and behavior-driven development (BDD).

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software test automation and quality engineering.
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Python.
• Experience with test automation tools such as Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, Jest, Mocha, or JUnit.
• Deep understanding of cloud-based applications (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience in API testing and automation (Postman, REST Assured, GraphQL testing).
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, k6, Gatling).
• Strong background in CI/CD and DevOps practices (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).
• Experience with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of Microservices, SOA, and distributed systems testing.
• Fluent English communication skills (written & verbal).
