Senior Global Compensation Analyst- Houston hybrid Role only
Reporting to the Director, Incentive Compensation the Senior Global Compensation Analyst is responsible of the design, administration, and optimization our broad-based compensation programs. You will also take ownership of equity plan administration and support executive compensation initiatives. You are highly analytical, proficient in Excel and BI tools, and eager to explore AI-driven solutions that elevate our Total Rewards function. You partner closely with HRIS, Talent Acquisition, and Business Partners to ensure PROS attracts, rewards, and retains top talent worldwide.

A Day in the Life of the Senior Global Compensation Analyst:
Broad-Based Compensation Administration
- Lead the design, benchmarking, and maintenance of salary structures and bonus programs.
- Conduct market-based total rewards research (salary, incentive, and benefits data) to keep PROS competitive.
- Manage annual compensation planning cycles (base salary, bonus, promotions), ensuring alignment with budget and business objectives.
- Evaluate job positions for correct classification, exempt/non-exempt status, and market benchmarking—partnering with Business Partners to address pay-related issues.
Equity & Executive Compensation
- Administer global equity award programs (grants, vesting schedules, reporting, and communications).
- Partner with Finance and Legal on executive compensation matters, including benchmarking, proxy disclosures, and special projects (e.g., retention awards, new-hire executive packages).
Analytics & Process Improvement
- Develop creative, data-driven solutions to diagnose pay equity inquiries, gender or regional pay gaps, and other compensation-related trends.
- Build and maintain dashboards (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent) to track headcount, salary spend, total rewards metrics, and equity program metrics.
- Leverage Workday (or similar HRIS) to configure and enhance compensation modules; partner with the HR Systems Analyst to ensure system updates reflect changes to salary structures, incentive plans, and equity programs.
Innovation & AI-Driven “Ennoblement”
- Demonstrate curiosity about emerging AI tools and explore how they can “ennoble” our Total Rewards processes—automating routine analyses, improving data accuracy, and enabling faster decision-making.
- Pilot new AI/BI solutions that increase efficiency (e.g., using NLP for job-description standardization or machine learning for pay modeling).
Required Qualifications - About you:
Experience
- 5+ years of progressive compensation experience—broad-based compensation, equity/stock-plan administration, and executive compensation—in a complex industry such as energy, manufacturing, or technology.
- Demonstrated history as a “compensation analyst lead” or senior-level comp consultant (internal or external), with direct ownership of comp systems (e.g., Workday).
Technical & Analytical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, macros, complex formulas).
- Hands-on experience with one or more BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).
- Proven track record configuring Workday Compensation modules (or equivalent HRIS/comp system).
- Hands-on equity-plan administration (RSUs, SARs, ESPP) with knowledge of ASC 718 accounting requirements is strongly preferred.

Highly Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Finance, HR Analytics, or related field.
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or equivalent strongly preferred.
