Department: Portfolio & Product Operations Location: Bulgaria / Malta

Reports to: Business & Certifications Assurance Manager Brands: Primarily PokerStars, with occasional support across other Flutter brands Office Presence: Hybrid (once a week)

The Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Technical Analyst to join our Portfolio & Product Operations team. This role is essential in helping us fulfil our scheduled regulatory obligations across multiple jurisdictions, supporting our audit lifecycle, and enabling timely certification across our platforms—including poker, casino, sports, and underlying platform technologies.

You will work alongside technical teams, legal, compliance, and third-party auditors (such as gaming labs) to ensure that we meet or exceed regulatory expectations. Your understanding of the online gambling industry and ability to interpret regulatory frameworks will help bridge the gap between product development, regulatory interpretation, and operational execution.

Why We Need You:

The gaming landscape is complex, multi-jurisdictional, and rapidly evolving. Our organisation operates across numerous markets, each with its own regulatory requirements. You will support the Business & Certifications Assurance Manager and act as a key point of contact in preparing for and running regulatory audits and technical certification activities.

Your role will ensure we remain compliant while continuing to deliver innovative, safe, and engaging experiences to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

· Coordinate and support recurring audits and certification activities across regulated markets.

· Interpret and operationalise regulatory requirements into actionable checklists, trackers, or workstreams.

· Liaise with internal stakeholders (Legal, Compliance, Product, Tech, Commercial) and external stakeholders (labs, auditors, and regulators).

· Track and manage deadlines for jurisdictional submissions, follow-ups, and approvals.

· Maintain detailed records and document libraries related to audits, certifications, and regulatory correspondence.

· Collaborate with Product and Tech teams to embed regulatory needs early in development cycles.

· Monitor regulatory updates and flag potential implications for ongoing or future projects.

· Use light-touch project management skills to track dependencies, escalate blockers, and report progress to senior stakeholders.

· Support the development of repeatable audit processes and continuous improvements in our compliance delivery model.

What We’re Looking For:

· 1+ years of experience in the online gambling industry, particularly in a compliance, regulatory, or technical support function.

· Familiarity with regulated markets and certification processes (e.g., UKGC, MGA, AGCO, NJDGE, etc.).

· Strong ability to interpret and summarise regulatory documentation.

· Experience interacting with third-party certification labs and/or regulators is a plus.

· Basic understanding of platform architecture and how online gaming products (casino, poker, sports) work.

· Demonstrated ability to organise and manage parallel deadlines across multiple jurisdictions.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

· Comfortable collaborating across diverse, cross-functional teams.

· Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and follow-through.

· Some project management experience—formal qualifications not required, but an ability to manage timelines and stakeholders is essential.

· A proactive mindset with a desire to improve processes and bring order to ambiguity.

Our team oversees audits, certifications, and third-party gaming lab engagements across PokerStars and other Flutter brands. We partner with Technology, Product, and Compliance teams to ensure our business meets regulatory requirements without compromising on customer experience or delivery speed.
