Job Title: Call Handler
Contract: Temporary
Duration: 8 weeks
Hours: Monday 9 am - 5 pm, Tuesday to Friday 9 am - 4 pm
Pay: £12.36 per hour
Location: Cwmbran (due to location you will need your own transport)
Start date: Within one week, subject to satisfactory reference checks

Manpower is recruiting Call Handlers on behalf of our Public Sector Client.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with excellent customer service skills who thrives in a fast-paced and structured environment.

About the Role
You'll be the first point of contact for members of the public who require non-emergency patient transport. Your role will involve:

  • Handling a of inbound calls
  • Following a set of pre-determined questions to assess transport eligibility
  • Accurately inputting caller responses into the system
  • Confirming and booking transport services based on caller information

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in a call centre or customer service environment

  • Strong IT and data entry skills with attention to detail
  • Calm, professional, and confident telephone manner
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure
  • Experience in healthcare or public sector settings is desirable but not essential
