GCP Operation Support Specialist

The Operation Support Specialist plays a key role in enhancing the operational efficiency and continuity of Global Patient Care (GPC) at Roche. Acting as the primary liaison between operational hubs, digital teams, and global stakeholders, the Specialist consolidates business demands for support solutions, coordinates run support activities, and ensures seamless communication and collaboration. By working closely with GPC leadership and engaging the appropriate teams to proactively address technical issues, the role supports the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered healthcare services and contributes to operational excellence across the organization.
The opportunity:
Collaborate with global stakeholders to identify and implement opportunities for process and system improvements that enhance operational efficiency and align with strategic business objectives.
Define and raise clear, actionable business requirements for process optimization, ensuring alignment with both operational needs and the capabilities of IT solutions.
Analyze the broader impact of proposed process or system changes across related systems, supporting the development of integrated and sustainable solutions.
Act as a key liaison between Global Patient Care (GPC) and digital solution teams, helping to translate business needs into technical requirements and supporting continuous process improvement.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to support business and technical changes, facilitate effective communication, and manage expectations across teams.
Manage the intake and prioritization of solution requests, applying governance frameworks to ensure alignment with global and regional priorities.
Support a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing global initiatives, sharing knowledge, and providing actionable insights to leadership and regional operations.
Who you are:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in operational support, system and process implementation or improvement, preferably in a regulated or healthcare environment.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in operations, digital solutions, project management, or a related field.
Strong ability to analyze, design, and optimize business processes, including translating business needs into clear technical requirements and understanding their broader operational impact.
Proven track record of successful collaboration with cross-functional and multicultural teams, with the ability to influence both technical and business stakeholders.
Solid understanding of digital solutions, system integrations, and process automation, along with experience managing projects using Agile methodologies and working within governance frameworks.
Excellent communication, organizational, and negotiation skills, with the capability to present business cases and strategic insights to diverse stakeholders.
High level of adaptability and problem-solving skills, fluency in English (additional languages such as Spanish or German are an asset), and readiness to travel occasionally for global initiatives.
