Cash & Trade Process Manager

Cash & Trade Process Manager is an intermediate level role in Credit & Trade Operations Department, responsible for ensuring Trade  transactions are processed accurately and on time, according to trade procedures and policies.  Effective providing Quality Assessment and improve process efficiency. Full supervisory responsibility, ensuring motivation and development of team through professional leadership to include duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary and terminations as well as direction of daily tasks and responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Effective management of operational processes, human resources and effective management of risks occurring in a subordinate operating unit as well as joint responsibility for all operational processes in the Department.
• Ensuring full compliance of the processes with trade procedures, and politics requirements, Standards and guidelines and ensuring their application by the staff.
• Working closely with Product Team and Legal Department.
• Cooperation with other regional trade teams.
• Overseeing day to day operations and solving operational errors, client issues end-to-end across, identifying operational risk.
• Providing guidance and/or on-the-job-training to new team members or remedial training.
• Managing, escalating and resolving all requests / inquiries / issues / errors, identify trade procedures/policies gaps and formulate actions to streamline processes and make processes more efficient and transparent.
• Managing and forecasting of headcount, requesting hires. Identifying risks to headcount targets and managing those risks.
• Managing ad hoc requirements in a high pressure environment.
• Representing the Bank in contacts with clients, third parties and global/regional partners.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in a manager role and  experience in trade operations
• Proven experience in creating and implementing processes that result in improved business performance
• Effective verbal and written communication (Polish and English) and analytical skills
• Knowledge and understanding of TTS processes as part of the products offered by Bank Handlowy
• Bachelor's/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
