The Vendor Product Pricing coordinator plays a pivotal role in obtaining quotes from vendors, pricing, and packaging bespoke offerings for customers. This position is key to ensuring competitive pricing and strategic vendor management for Zayo Europe’s global telecommunications infrastructure. The role requires strong analytical skills, market intelligence, and commercial acumen to optimise sourcing and pricing strategies.

Represent at all times a knowledgeable, efficient, and professional image of Zayo to customers by conducting business with a respectful and professional demeanour. Obtain and negotiate vendor quotes to achieve optimal pricing and terms for Type 2 (off-network) and off-network services. Work closely with Sales, Finance, and Commercial Operations teams to deliver seamless pricing solutions. Log quoting and pricing information into systems of record for analytics and strategic insights. Ensure the correct products and services are sourced in alignment with contract terms and conditions. Support single-point quotes and large Request for Proposal (RFP) responses to drive business opportunities. Develop and maintain knowledge of market pricing trends and competitive positioning. Ensure accurate and competitive pricing structures for customer offerings. Assist in contract negotiations with vendors to secure favourable terms and pricing structures. Support  vendor reliability, pricing consistency, and overall performance to support the team in vendor selection decisions. Verify that all vendor pricing agreements and contracts comply with industry regulations and internal policies. Provide accurate pricing data and insights to support sales proposals, budgeting, and financial forecasting.

Key Accountabilities

Maintain accurate pricing data and ensure compliance with internal documentation standards. Accountable for negotiating and securing the best vendor pricing to protect Zayo’s bottom line Collaborate with internal teams to align vendor offerings with business objectives. Utilize company databases and market intelligence to assess and propose alternative sourcing options.

Section II – Internal and External Organizational and Hierarchical Relations

In his/her daily work the Vendor Product Pricing Coordinator shall be directly subordinated to Director of Procurement and EMEA Vendor Relations and shall receive instructions from them or another person which they designate. The individuals under item 1.1. above are entitled to send their instructions and any other organizational correspondence via email and chatter to the zayo.com office email address. In such cases the Employee agrees and undertakes to receive and duly perform Employer’s instructions in this form and acknowledges them as binding written instructions.

Section III – Necessary Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in the relevant subjects: Business / Information Technology / Telecommunications

  • Language skills: Excellent command on written and spoken English

  • Excellent written and oral communication - Writing of reports, procedures, presentations.

  • The ability to structure the workload in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment is essential.

Good knowledge of:

  • Internet Software; Spreadsheet Software (Excel); Word Processing Software (Word); Electronic Mail Software (Outlook and Gmail); and Presentation software (PowerPoint) and Salesforce

  • Maintaining professional communication and relationships with vendors.

  • The structure, the functional characteristics, the scope of business and the business relations of the Employer;

  • The requirements for handling internal and external correspondence;

  • The instructions for proper use of the office and communication equipment, tools and materials;

  • The requirements for fire safety in the premises of the Employer;

  • The general internal rules and regulations for work and observance of labor discipline of the Employer;

  • Internal Salary regulations of the Employer;

  • Rules on health and safety conditions at work of the Employer;

  • Ordinance No. 7 of 15.08.2005 on the minimum requirements for ensuring healthy and safe working conditions when working with video displays;

  • Other internal acts оf the Employer.
