Job Purpose
To support all aspects of the transfer pricing strategy, documentation, compliance, and audit responses. The role will also contribute to broader tax initiatives, working closely with the Indirect Tax and Income Tax teams to ensure alignment across the global tax footprint.
Key Responsibilities
Transfer Pricing
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of transfer pricing documentation (Local Files, Master File, Country-by-Country Reporting).
- Review and analyse intercompany transactions and support transfer pricing calculations and adjustments.
- Support the implementation and monitoring of transfer pricing policies and intercompany agreements.
- Assist with planning and pricing of cross-border transactions including intellectual property, services, and financing arrangements.
- Provide support in transfer pricing audits and dispute resolution with tax authorities.
- Monitor and assess the impact of global BEPS and OECD developments on the business and propose proactive solutions.
Tax Compliance & Reporting
- Collaborate with Income Tax and Indirect Tax teams to ensure accurate reporting and tax return compliance across jurisdictions.
- Support preparation and review of tax disclosures for statutory accounts, group reporting, and tax provisioning.
- Ensure intercompany recharges are appropriately documented and substantiated for tax purposes.
Key Skills & Experience
Essential
- Must be fluent in English (spoken and written). An additional European language such as French or German would be advantageous.
- ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified or equivalent, with strong experience in Transfer Pricing within a Big 4, mid-tier practice, or in-house tax function.
- A tax professional with 5+ years’ experience in transfer pricing (ideally with pan-European scope).
- Solid working knowledge of OECD guidelines, local country TP rules, and international tax developments (e.g. Pillar 2 and DAC6).
- Broad understanding of corporate tax, indirect tax, and their interplay with transfer pricing.
- Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with TP tools (e.g., TP Doc automation software) is advantageous.
- Analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to explain complex tax concepts to non-tax stakeholders.
Desirable
- Experience working with Oracle, or similar ERP systems.
- Exposure to TP audits.
