The company entered the Bulgarian market in July 2002 as part of the Hellenic Petroleum Group, which is the largest industrial and commercial corporation in Greece with a key role in the development of the energy sector in Southeast Europe. EKO Bulgaria EAD has a chain of 91 petrol stations under the brand name EKO on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria.
